Polyglyph ("the extension") is a browser extension that detects and warns about look-alike domains. It does not collect or transmit any personal information or user data.

1. Not collected or sent

Browsing history, URLs, anything you type (including passwords), page content, or usage. The extension never communicates with any external server. It contains no ads, analytics or tracking.

2. Handled only inside your browser

The domain (host name) of the open page and of the links on it, used to decide whether it is a look-alike. It is not stored after the check.

3. Stored

• Your settings and exclusion list (chrome.storage.sync). If browser sync is on, they sync to your own other devices through your browser account.
• A random value that protects the warning page from tampering (chrome.storage.local)

The developer cannot see them. Removing the extension deletes them.

4. Sharing with third parties

None, since nothing is collected. Nothing is sold.
